The entry-level smartphone by Benco has launched in Nepal. The Benco V60 4G has been made available in the Nepali market. Benco’s latest offering is a perfect option for a specific demographic that doesn’t require long usage for official task or high-resolution games. This phone can be a choice for those who are searching for a secondary smartphone or parents not requiring a phone for an official task. The segment Benco V60 is mostly packed by Nokia models in the market and now buyers have an additional option.
The Benco V60 4G has a decent level of specs for the offered price range. The design of the smartphone is simple and it is offered with cameras front and back. A few trendy features such as a fingerprint scanner are also offered in the smartphone that should be useful for the users.
The design of the Benco V60 4G is quite simple and comes as a polycarbonate body. Upfront, there is a water-drop notch for the selfie camera and the bezels of the screen are a bit bold, and even more thick at the chin–which is considerable compared to the price it is offered. The rear of the smartphone has a camera setup mounted on a capsule-shaped housing and a fingerprint scanner. The bottom left corner features a Benco branding and a speaker is mounted just below it.

The Benco V60 is powered by Unisoc SC9863a that was initially announced in 2018. Built on a 24nm node, it features two 4x clusters of Cortex-A55 CPU cores. For graphics, the phone is equipped with Imagination GE8322. The operating system for the device is the latest Android 11 (Go edition) out-of-the-box. The memory option on the device is set as 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. However, the phone also offers an extra slot for an additional memory card and the storage can be further extended up to 128GB; the dual-nano SIM slot and a memory card slot. Additionally, it supports WiFi, 4G, and GPS.
The Benco V60 has a dual-camera setup on the rear including an LED flash. The primary camera is a 12MP lens with an aperture of f/1.7 and it is further accompanied by a 2MP AI camera. An LED flash is featured just below the camera lens and the setup is capable of recording videos on 1080p at 30fps and 720p videos at 30fps. The selfie camera is a 5MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0. The camera also features AI scene recognitions for a slightly better experience on the pictures.
Finally, the phone is backed up by a 4120mAh battery pack with AI power saving modes and a battery manager, which is a decent offering for a budget smartphone. The device fuels up with a 10W charger. Considering the low-level specs, the phone can run for almost a day and a half on a single charge.
